Grease Trap Cleaning Method Statement
Grease traps are boxes used to trap the fats, oils and grease (FOG) before they enter the sewer system. They are common in commercial kitchens where grease trap cleaning procedures and maintenance are critical for meeting Dubai Municipality standards.

The required maintenance frequency for grease interceptors and traps depends greatly on the amount of FOG a facility generates as well as any best management practices (BMPs) that the establishment implements to reduce the FOG discharged into its sanitary sewer system i.e. every 15 days.
